What is Labor Card?
All the workers will be given employment through this e-labor card and when you apply online for e-labor card, you are asked about the work, on the basis of that, all the card holders will be provided work by the government. An insurance cover of ₹ 200000 will be provided to the registered worker on the portal if he dies in an accident. Apart from this, a provision of providing ₹ 200000 for permanent disability due to accident and ₹ 100000 in case of partial disability has also been fixed for the registered worker on this portal.
Through this card, the benefits of various schemes will also be provided to the workers.
As we are already aware of the E Shram Card Scheme that this scheme was launched by the Central Government on August 2021.
The government has allocated a budget of Rs 404 crore for this scheme.
All types of workers belonging to the unorganized sector can apply for the E Shram Yojana.
The person who pays Income Tax will not be eligible for e Shram Card.
How to check labor card money?
- Go to the bank with your bank passbook.

E Shram Card Eligibility
- You must be a permanent citizen of India.
- You should not be an income tax payer.
- You have to apply for Ashram Yojana from its official website i.e. www.eshram.gov.in.
- The age of the beneficiary should be between 16 to 60 years.
- The registration fee for E Shram Card Scheme in CSC will be Rs 20.
- You must have Aadhar Card issued by UIDAI.
- You must have a mobile number linked with any national bank.
Shramik card kaise banaye?
You can easily apply for this labor scheme of the government. If you want to know the process to apply for this scheme, then the following information is very useful for you.
- First of all you have to visit the official portal of e Shram from the given link.
- After this the home page of this scheme will open in front of you.
- Now you have to select 'e labor registration'.
- Now you will be redirected to a new page where you have to enter the details like Aadhar number along with the captcha code given on your screen.
- Click on 'Send OTP' option.
- Now you will be able to receive one-time password an SMS on your mobile phone.
- You have to submit the OTP and proceed.
- Now enter details like your bank account number, full name, father's name, mother's name, spouse's name, profession, organization name, monthly income, income certificate number, domicile certificate number, etc.
- After entering all these details, you need to click on the submit button.
- After successful approval of the details given on the application form, you will be able to get a 12-digit number and eshram card issued.
- You can also take a printout of the registration slip for future reference.
